We explained to students how December is typically a big community month, with lots of gatherings, fundraising, celebrations, etc., but now that we're in January we don't want the sense of community to disappear! Electronics Policy Since returning from break we noticed that many students have some fun new gadgets, including smart watches, cameras, and other toys. See's Candy Fundraiser It's time for some Yum-Raising! HRCCS receives profits from anything ordered at the See's Candy Harvest Ridge Store. Items can be shipped directly to yourself or any other gift recipient you'd like. Share the link with your family, friends coworkers, etc. so that they can order some treats and benefit our school at the same time! Canned Food Drive 11/18-11/21 We will be collecting canned food items next week to donate to the Auburn Food Shelter. Bring your canned food items in and turn them into the classroom teachers. Yearbook Photos - Fall Photos Needed! At Harvest Ridge we rely on parents to be our yearbook photographers. Get a 10 lb bag of Mandarins for $15! The Harvest Ridge PTO has partnered with our friends at Miller Honey Farms to offer fresh, locally grown mandarins and honey. We have also partnered with Colwell Thundering Herd Ranch for bath and body products, as well as delicious edibles. 100% of the proceeds of the honey and mandarins go to our school!Important Dates to Remember:
1.Please have everyone on your order sheet make their payments (cash, checks, venmo, etc.) to YOU NOT HRCCS. 2. Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday 11/21 It's that time of year when we gather together, and celebrate our school family and all that we are thankful for. All families are invited to join us Thursday, November 21st, from 11:00am - 12:00pm, for a potluck feast at our school. This Thanksgiving Feast has been a tradition at our school for many years. It's a wonderful time to enjoy one anothers company, sit and visit, enjoy a warm meal together growing in friendship and community. We are asking for $5 donations towards the meat and the PTO will provide it. Please bring all HOT dishes warm and ready to serve on the 21st no earlier than 10:45am. Other items can be dropped off earlier if needed, but just a reminder that our oven and refrigerator space are limited, so it would be great to have items come at the time of the feast. Please remember to label your dish and serving spoon, and to take them with you home to wash after our meal. Looking forward to seeing you there! Visit our online store to purchase new Spirit Wear – available through December 1st. All orders will arrive before winter break. This is a fundraiser for the Student Council, with 100% of the proceeds supporting projects that directly benefit our students. Past projects funded by the Student Council include the installation of the drinking fountain and water bottle filler on our playground, new recess and PE equipment, campus murals, and much more!
