  • Campus Closed on Monday 1/16: There is no school and our campus will be closed on Monday 1/16 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday. We will be open again on Tuesday 1/17.
  • New Student Request for Enrollment: Spread the word! We are now taking requests for enrollment for our 23/24 school year for both our Hybrid & Home Study Programs. Students that are currently enrolled in our school DO NOT need to submit a request to enroll. 
  • Read-a-Thon Update: Our Read-a-Thon is going strong with over $4,000 raised so far!  The last day of the Read-a-Thon is on 1/24, but there is still plenty of time to participate. Please activate your reader’s account(s) today by clicking on this link and following the instructions, but please don't use their harvestridgeschool.org email addresses.
  • Save The Date: Our PTO is looking forward to hosting our first Bingo Night at Crooked Lane on March 8th. More details to come!
  • Placer High School District Open Enrollment: Open Enrollment/Intradistrict applications for Placer Union High School District are being accepted between January 3rd and January 31st 2023. Please click here for more information on Intradistrict Transfers and Enrollment.

  • Read-a-Thon: The January Read-a-thon gives our students another reason to read and develop stronger reading skills.  Individuals and classrooms will compete in categories for "top reader" and "most donations raised".  Our Read-a-thon begins on  Tuesday January 10, 2023, and lasts for two weeks.   • Chips for Kids Toy Drive: We have already filled one barrel! Let's make it two! In this season of giving, our community is committed to making a difference in the lives of others.  Please consider donating to the Harvest Ridge CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive.  This toy drive runs through Thursday, December 15th, and new unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the main school campus in the collection barrel out front. 
  • Minimum Day on 12/15: We will have a minimum day on Thursday 12/15 for our on campus program. Students will be released at 12pm.
  • Spirit Week: Monday 12/12-Thursday 12/15 will be Spirit Week on Campus! We will have Pajama Day, Santa vs. Grinch, Red and Green, and Ugly Sweater Days. Click here for more information.

  • No School on 11/21-11/25: Our offices will be closed during Thanksgiving Break during the week of 11/21-11/25.
  • Mandarin Fund Raiser: Orders are due November 28th (the Monday we return from Thanksgiving) and we plan to deliver orders on December 1st. We have a tight turnaround for delivery so please turn orders in on time! Click here for an order form (please ignore the old dates on the form).
  • See's Candy Fundraiser: It's time for some holiday goodies! Please order from our See's Candy fundraising link, and share the link with your family members, co-workers, friends, etc. All items are directly shipped to the customers, and our school makes up to 50% profit! Orders are due by 12/2!
  • Mission & Vision Town Hall on 12/1: Back by popular demand! Our 2nd Mission and Vision Town Hall will be on Thursday 12/1 at 5pm. We want to get your input on what Harvest Ridge is doing well and what we need to work on. We appreciate your feedback and know that our families make our school a special place!

  • Mandarin Fund Raiser: Due to a shortage of ripe mandarins, we are pushing the fundraiser dates back. We know this is inconvenient, but when dealing with a farm crop you can't always anticipate how things will go. The new dates are as follows, orders are due November 28th (the Monday after Thanksgiving) and we plan to deliver orders on December 1st.   • Mandarin Fund Raiser: It's that time of year again! We'll be sending home packets for the Mandarin Fund Raiser on Tuesday 11/1. Thank you to the Miller Family for all of their hard work!
  • Breakfast/Snack for On Campus Students:  Starting 11/1, a breakfast snack will be provided during snack recess for our on campus students. Examples of snacks will include granola bars, cheese sticks, apple slices, etc., and milk.
  • School for On Campus Students on Tuesday 11/1: Just a reminder that Tuesday 11/1 is a regular school day for our On Campus Program
  • Mission & Vision Town Hall Follow Up: Thank you for those that attended our Mission & Vision Town Hall.   • ​​Mission & Vision Town hall: Come join us on Tuesday 10/25 from 5-6:30pm for our Mission & Vision Statement Town hall meeting. We want to get your input on what Harvest Ridge is doing well and what we need to work on. We appreciate your input and know that our families make our school a special place!

  • Coding Club: Coding Club will be on Mondays from 2:45 - 3:45, and is available for all students grades 3-8. Students will get an introduction to computer programming concepts using Scratch by MIT, problem-solving experience, engineering creativity, and teamwork. We still have spots available, so email Mr. Ornelas if you are interested in joining.
