Coding Club will be on Tuesdays from 2:45 - 3:45, and is available for all students in grades 3-8. Students will get an introduction to computer programming concepts using Scratch by MIT, problem-solving experience, engineering creativity, and teamwork. Escape the Room
Get excited about learning with classroom escape room challenges! Students will work collaboratively with partners or in groups to solve ELA and math challenges and find clues in order to escape the given scenario. |
Coding for All
Elementary students will learn to code through a game-based environment by solving coding challenges. Middle school students will learn to code (or practice their coding skills) with a fun Python-based program. Drag and drop or write your own code. Continue at home! This class comes with a year- long subscription to the coding programs. |

Time: 10:00 am -12:00 noon Location: The Naturalist's Atelier 160 Cleveland Ave, Auburn CA 95603 Kinder Create Birds Class will be split into 4 segments: art, reading aloud from living books, crafts, and a level appropriate writing exercise - all based around the topic of birds. Little ones will enjoy learning about nests, feathers, eggs, and all things birds as they listen to stories, craft and create! Maximum 15 students. |

This class will build on itself as we begin by creating our own paper from which we will create a book and then carve our own stamps to print the cover of our book. Maximum of 20 students. |
