Discover the 2026 Winter Olympics!
Get ready to explore the excitement of the 2026 Winter Olympics! In this enrichment session, students will learn about the upcoming games — the host country and city, thrilling events, and standout athletes to watch. We’ll also take a look back at famous U.S. Olympians who have made history.
Students will bring the Olympic spirit to life through hands-on art and STEM projects inspired by the games — from designing medals and flags to building mini ski jumps or bobsled tracks. Students will also participate in engaging Olympic-themed P.E. activities that combine physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Students will step into the shoes (or skates!) of Olympic athletes, learning about the different winter sports during a short classroom session, then heading outside for high-energy, age-appropriate activities. From ski jumps and ice skating glides to hockey shots and biathlon relays, kids will build strength, balance, coordination, and speed—all while having a blast. The 2026 Olympics is the perfect time to learn about world geography and the many cultures represented in the games. Students will work on map skills, learn about the country of Italy, and the Cortina/Milan area in particular. Join us as we celebrate teamwork, creativity, and the wonder of the Winter Olympics! |
