Our team is committed to providing families with encouragement, guidance, and meaningful opportunities throughout their homeschooling journey.
Janet SuttonJanet has been part of Harvest Ridge since its founding and brings extensive experience in education and independent study. She is passionate about partnering with families to create personalized educational experiences that help every student thrive. When she's not working with families, Janet enjoys camping, gardening, and traveling.

Christina CowanChristina supports students and families through individualized literacy instruction and positive learning strategies. She holds a master's degree in Educational Technology and enjoys helping students build both confidence and academic success. Outside of school, Christina enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, spending time in the mountains, and caring for her daughter, energetic dog, and flock of chickens.

Michelle BalsanoMichelle has many years of experience supporting students and families in schools and enjoys helping make the enrollment process and daily school operations run smoothly. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for every family at Harvest Ridge. Outside of school, Michelle enjoys crafting, spending time with her family, cheering on her favorite NASCAR drivers, and caring for animals.

Amy CiminoHome Study Teacher
[email protected] Amy brings experience teaching both in the classroom and in independent study and is passionate about helping families cultivate a lifelong love of learning. She holds master's degrees in Education and Creative Writing and especially enjoys inspiring students to grow as readers and writers. Amy lives in Auburn with her husband and two children, and outside of school she enjoys hiking local trails, reading, writing, and the excitement of back-to-school season.

Audra DelanyHome Study Teacher
[email protected] Audra grew up in the Newcastle community and brings experience teaching students across elementary and middle school grades. She enjoys helping students discover how they learn best and considers it a privilege to partner with families throughout their educational journey. Outside the classroom, Audra enjoys cooking, reading, pickleball, sailing, and caring for her family's small farm.

Krista HilmenHome Study Teacher
[email protected] Krista has taught students from fourth grade through high school and brings a wide range of experience, including elementary art and English. She loves helping students develop a lifelong love of learning while building meaningful relationships with families. When she's not teaching, Krista enjoys gardening, baking bread, preserving food, reading, and tackling DIY projects around her home.

Kathleen LubiensHome Study Teacher
[email protected] Kathleen has been connected to Harvest Ridge as both a parent and educator and values the strong sense of community the school provides. She enjoys helping students grow academically while supporting parents in creating meaningful learning experiences at home. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys hiking, tennis, snow and water skiing, long walks with friends, and spending time with her family.

She believes every stage of learning brings unique opportunities for growth and discovery. Outside of school, Patricia enjoys hiking, camping in National Parks, reading, and spending time with her husband and four children.

When she's not teaching, Rebecca enjoys country living, cooking, caring for animals, and tackling projects around her property with her family.
