Key to Success - Cooperation This month our Key to Success is Cooperation! Teachers have discussed what it looks like to show cooperation at our school, including being helpful, compromising, and listening to directions the first time they are given. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or during group activities, cooperation helps everyone succeed and feel included. Encouraging teamwork and kindness makes our school a great place to learn and grow! Track & Field Parent Meeting 3/10 Track & Field Season is right around the corner! Practice starts next week on Monday, March 10th at 2:45 PM. We explained to students how December is typically a big community month, with lots of gatherings, fundraising, celebrations, etc., but now that we're in January we don't want the sense of community to disappear! We explained to students that being a successful community member means being involved and looking out for others. Electronics Policy Since returning from break we noticed that many students have some fun new gadgets, including smart watches, cameras, and other toys. Per our Student/Parent Handbook (see page 17), these types of devices are not allowed to be used on campus unless given permission to do so by our staff. Placer Union High School District Open Enrollment From Placer Union High School District: OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD FOR PLACER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 2025-2026 Open Enrollment/Intradistrict applications for Placer Union High School District are being accepted between January 6th and January 31st 2025. Please refer to PUHSD Open Enrollment/Intradistrict Board Policy 5116.1 on our district website for specific information and guidelines. TO APPLY: The parent/guardian of the pupil requesting to attend a school other than their school of residence in our district must complete and submit the application, along with the most recent copies of attendance, grades and notice of any behavior issues to their school of residence and request an appointment with that principal. The completed form MUST be turned into the District Office no later than January 31, 2025 by 4:15 pm. NO EXCEPTIONS. Applications and procedures can be found on our website. Venmo Payments Reminder Just a reminder that all payments being made for PTO sponsored school events need to include the Student's Name, Student's Grade, and the Event.
