She is passionate about partnering with families to create personalized educational experiences that help every student thrive. When she's not working with families, Janet enjoys camping, gardening, and traveling.

Michelle BalsanoSchool Office Assistant/Registrar
[email protected] Michelle has many years of experience supporting students and families in schools and enjoys helping make the enrollment process and daily school operations run smoothly. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for every family at Harvest Ridge. Outside of school, Michelle enjoys crafting, spending time with her family, cheering on her favorite NASCAR drivers, and caring for animals.

Nicolette SmartVirtual Academy Teacher
[email protected] Nicolette has a wealth of experience supporting students in grades TK-8. She is passionate about getting to know her students and their strengths, utilizing this knowledge to help all of her students thrive. Nicolette has a diverse background in education including classroom teaching in the Bay Area, Placer County, and Sacramento County. Her experience as an MTSS Intervention Specialist supporting students across grade levels and schools has provided her with a toolbox of strategies to ensure all students find success. Apart from school, Nicolette enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with her husband and son.
