At Harvest Ridge we rely on parents to be our yearbook photographers. Please use the link below to share any photos you've taken from classroom events, field trips, clubs & sports, or anything school related. Right now we're especially looking for photos from Treetop Adventure, the Fall Festival, Cross Country, Halloween and classroom field trips. If you need help connecting to Google Photos, please email Jessie Fowler at [email protected]

Needs Assessment Survey - Fall 2024
At Harvest Ridge Cooperative Charter School, our mission is to provide a high-quality, student-centered educational experience that inspires a lifelong love of learning. Guided by our vision of nurturing each student’s academic and social development, we are committed to fostering a supportive and compassionate environment where students, staff, and families work together to help every child thrive. To continue building a school community that reflects our values, we want to understand how we can better support your family’s unique needs.
This needs assessment survey is designed to gather input on the resources, programs, and services that would be most beneficial for our families. Your feedback will help us create an environment where students and families alike feel supported, connected, and empowered. By aligning our programs with the needs of our school community, we can work together to fulfill our mission of enhancing the joy of learning and fostering a commitment to lifelong learning. We appreciate your time and openness in sharing your thoughts with us.
This survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete and will be open until Friday, November 22nd. We need your participation! Please take the time to help our school out with your feedback.

CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive is Happening Now!
Drop off a new, unwrapped toy in the barrel in front of our office in order to help bring some extra holiday cheer to families in need. We will be collecting toys through December 19th.

Track & Field Coach Needed!
  • The season starts in mid-March and ends in mid-May.
  • Last year, there were about 20 students on the team in 5th through 8th grade.
  • The practice schedule is flexible. School gets out at 2:30 PM and there is no in-session school on Fridays. Last year's practice schedule was Mondays @ 2:45, Wednesdays @ 2:45, and Fridays @ 8:30 AM. This can be changed to meet the coach's schedule.
  • Practices are held at the school, located at 9050 Old State Highway in Newcastle.
  • Harvest Ridge competes against K-8 schools in Loomis. Meets are held at Franklin Elementary School and Placer Elementary School.
  • The meet schedule is located HERE on the league website. Keep in mind that it's a draft and might change slightly.
  • Meets are twice a week and last 2 - 2.5 hours. The league puts on mini meets as opposed to one long league meet a week. Once meets start, the team only practices once a week in conjunction with competitions.
  • The coach needs to be fingerprinted and TB tested. The following certificates should also be provided: CPR, First Aid, Concussion, and Cardiac Arrest.
  • Stipend is $500 for the season.
  • Interested? Call, text, or email Jenica at (279) 800-5195 or [email protected]

Venmo Payments Reminder
Just a reminder that all payments being made for PTO sponsored school events need to include the Student's Name, Student's Grade, and the Event.
Ex: Suzy Q, 5th Grade, Overnight Field Trip
This helps ensure that the money going to the PTO Venmo is being applied to the right student for the right purpose. Thank you!
