Harvest Ridge Enrichment Sessions are Now Open!
Harvest Ridge is excited to offer Enrichment opportunities for all students beginning in January. Each session has two classes that students sign up for. These classes will be split into an upper grade and lower grade group to allow us to tailor instruction to the students attending. Each session will be capped at 40 students, with a maximum of 20 in each group. A waiting list will be started for students signing up after the session fills.
Classes are held on Fridays on the main Harvest Ridge Campus, and run from 9:00 am to 11:15 am with a 15 minute snack recess/break in between. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and snack for the break.
Costs for each session and session details are listed below. Home Study students may use Home Study funds to cover the cost of the classes. Payment for classes must be received as of the first session through cash or check made out to HRCCS.

Art ExplorationsInstructor: Mrs. Sutton
Students will explore the creative process, develop their artistic skills, and experiment with a variety of art materials, styles, and mediums. We will be sketching, painting, and getting messy in a great way! Unleash your inner artist with us! |
Kids Cook Real FoodInstructor: Mrs. Rickards
Bring in your aprons for a “kids cook real food” class! We will compare common packaging ingredients to the recipe for real food that kids can cook. Students will learn about hidden artificial ingredients in foods. Meals will range from appetizer, salad, entree and dessert! Students will prepare each dish using their own set of knives and kitchen prep tools. At the end of the course, students will get to take their kitchen tools and recipes home to keep and use again and again! |
